As one of Europe’s largest providers of specialist automotive expertise, AMS has around 100 employees in 30 markets. An opportunity has arisen in our BMW and MINI support team in Finland.

Is this for you?

With experience working for an automotive manufacturer, a Franchised Dealer or a successful independent used car seller, you already have an understanding of a successful manufacturer’s used car Remarketing operation.
Living in Finland and being a native language speaker are essential. Daily contact with BMW and MINI Dealers will be required, so it is essential to be able to communicate enthusiastically and confidently, and, when necessary, speak and write in Swedish and English.

You will report to the Head of Used Car Operations in BMW Northern Europe, and will be used to devising business development plans to deliver Remarketing objectives, maximising dealer used car sales and profitability. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing the BMW Premium Selection (BPS)/MINI NEXT (MN) approved used car programmes in new dealers, utilising and developing tools and marketing materials
  • Providing consultancy support to develop action plans in conjunction with the Business Development Manager
  • Ensure dealers engage with and optimise the BMW/MINI Remarketing channels
  • Liaising with the BMW/MINI field team to keep them informed and engaged in used car retail operations.

A typical day

You will develop the Remarketing processes to ensure efficient transition of BMW fleet vehicles through established sales channels, and identify new channels using new technology and innovative sales
methods to pilot new ideas.

You will monitor dealer used car sales and profit performance on the BMW Premium Selection (BPS) and MINI NEXT (MN) approved used car programmes, helping to create bespoke business plans to help
dealers improve their sales and profitability.

Spending time with BPS and MN dealers, you will help them to implement the programmes effectively, coaching them and coordinating communication between the dealers, the BMW Remarketing team and
the field sales managers.

As the guardian of the dealer network’s used car performance, you will maintain and share records and reports of each dealer, and represent the Remarketing department at internal, field and marketing
meetings and presentations.
