Working for AMS to support our client, BMW Group, you will have a good understanding of the vehicle remarketing landscape, and be ready to assume a leadership position.
You will optimise the remarketing processes and manage the regional team from Stockholm, with responsibility for overseeing and optimising the vehicle remarketing supply chain, and
coordinating the suppliers that facilitate the sale of vehicle stocks across Northern Europe.
The primary channels are BMW and MINI dealers, but your responsibility will be to develop the remarketing cascade achieving disposal targets, residual value objectives and
maintaining stocks within agreed limits.
Living in Sweden and being fluent in Swedish are essential. Daily contact with BMW and MINI Dealers will be required, so communicating enthusiastically and confidently is vital, as
is speaking and writing in English when required.
Educated to degree level, you are process-oriented and a skilled project manager, with a structured mind-set and passion for delivering positive business outcomes. As you build your team and form supplier relationships, you are also ready to travel across the region.
A typical day
Among your core activities, you will:
- Set business processes to achieve the remarketing objectives in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark, recruiting and training your local team to ensure that they meet agreed KPI targets. You will optimise the regional supply chain and deliver regular vehicle value forecasting and sales analysis reporting to BMW Group management
- Take responsible for achieving remarketing targets and compliance with BMW systems and processes, utilising IT platforms to make sure vehicles are taken to market across the remarketing portals, with accurate descriptions and quality imaging
- Develop an understanding of stock requirements, and advise BMW Group on the optimum stock profiling for own use vehicles; your opinion will be sought on pricing and valuations
- Report to the AMS Regional Director and, as you develop your leadership and management skills, you can expect to be seen as a senior AMS Manager deputising for and supporting the Regional Director as required.
